Tehran: A 5.1 magnitude earthquake struck northern Iran on Sunday with no reported losses in lives or property, according to authorities.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Tehran University's Seismological Center reported that the quake's epicenter was located 10 kilometers deep in the Fazelabad area of Golestan province. The earthquake prompted immediate response efforts.
The Iranian Red Crescent Society in Golestan dispatched rescue teams to the affected area to assess potential damages. The organization confirmed that, as of yet, there have been no reports of casualties or property damage.
