Riyadh: The third Kuwait-Saudi Coordination Council meeting took place on Monday, co-chaired by Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, focusing on reviewing economic, investment, security, and development relations.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the meeting concluded with the signing of four agreements and the meeting minutes. These include a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on economy and planning, signed by Dr. Sheikh Nimr Fahad Al-Malik Al-Sabah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil and chair of the energy, economy, trade, and industry committee.
Additionally, an MoU on public-private partnership cooperation was signed by Aseel Al-Munifi, who chairs the investment, environment, and infrastructure committee. Further agreements include an MoU on science, technology, and innovation, as well as an MoU on radio and television cooperation, signed by Dr. Naser Muhaisen, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information.
