The Health and Population Ministry announced the second edition of the Global Congress on Population, Health and Human Development (PHDC' 24) will be launched on October 21-25 under the sponsorship of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. The conference will be held in cooperation with the Ministerial Group for Human Development and the National Project for Human Development in the New Administrative Capital (NAC). PHDC'24 and the initiative of "A New Beginning for Building Human being" are both key to fulfilling Egypt's comprehensive strategy for human development. PHDC'24 and the initiative comply with Egypt Vision 2023 and the outputs of the national dialogue. The human development presidential initiative "A New Beginning for Building Human being" ushered in the "Golden Beginning for Family and Child" program, targeting children from birth to 6 years old. The initiative involves various state bodies and ministries, including the ministries of health, social solidarity, education, youth and sports, and cultu re. Early childhood development is considered one of the most critical pillars of human development. This stage, from birth to 6 years old, is often referred to as the "golden stage" of development.
