25th Asian Physics Olympiad Commences in Dhahran with 30 Nations Participating

Dhahran: The 25th Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO) commenced on Monday in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, featuring the participation of 30 countries and approximately 240 talented physics students from across Asia.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the opening ceremony was marked by a speech from Dr. Khaled Al-Sharif, Secretary General of the Mawhiba Foundation. Dr. Al-Sharif emphasized that the Olympiad serves as both a competition and a celebration of creativity and innovation, highlighting the critical role of youth in shaping the future.

The Asian Physics Olympiad is recognized as one of the leading international scientific competitions in physics for high school students, drawing young physicists from across the continent to test their skills and knowledge.
