Kuwaiti D. FM visits British embassy for solace on Queen’s demise

 

Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Majdi Al-Dhafiri on Thursday visited the embassy building of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and North Ireland in the State of Kuwait, presenting condolences and solace on demise of Queen Elizabeth II, the Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and North Ireland.
Ambassador Al-Dhafiri in his note in the condolences book expressed condolences on the Queen death, recalling her achievements, traits, historic contributions in the service of her country and people, as well as her eminent role in cementing the historic and distinguished relations between the State of Kuwait and the UK.
The British Ambassador Belnida Lewis received Al-Dhafiri during his visit to the British mission headquarters.

Kuwait Cooperative Societies supports “Kuwaitization” Program

 

 

– Chairman of the Union of Consumer Cooperative Societies Badah Al-Dosari stressed Thursday the Union’s support for the National Labor Replacement Program in the cooperative sector and providing it with Kuwaiti competencies.
In a statment to KUNA, Al-Dosari said that the Union is working on the implementation of the Commerce Minister Fahd Al-Shariaan’s decision issued recently regarding the policy of Kuwaitization of supervisory jobs in the catering branches of cooperative societies.
He stressed the need to put a developed mechanism to ensure the employment of those who meet the appropriate conditions to work according to the needs of cooperative societies in the supply branches, noting that the Union has actually benefited from the trained Kuwaiti cadres working in this sector.
He praised the pioneering role played by the cooperative movement in providing basic commodities at reasonable prices in addition to the social services provided to shareholders.
He noted the Union’s contribution to the development and support of national companies, revitalizing internal and external trade and interacting with economic problems.
Al-Dosari explained how the State of Kuwait promoted the cooperative movement, and helped this sector to achieve its national goals and assumed a prominent position on the Arabic and international levels

Kuwait health minister opens new medical center

– Minister of Health Dr. Khaled Al-Saeed on Thursday inaugurated the NEW health center in the residential district Abu Ftairah to serve up to 12,000 people living in the region.
In a statement after the opening, the minister said number of medical centers in Al-Ahmadi region climbed to 32, revealing that a medical center in Sabah Al-Ahmad district would be inaugurated in the coming days.
The medical centers in these regions operate round the clock, he said.
For his part, the director of Al-Ahmadi health zone, Dr. Ahmad Al-Shatti, said the new center would be for treating diabetics, patients of chronic diseases in additioN to providing general medical services, The complex includes a pharmacy, laboratories, maternity and child clinics.
Official spokesperson of the Ministry of Health Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad affirmed the MoH commitment to expand the sector in line with Kuwait Vision (New Kuwait 2035) strategy
